13 new eager volunteers met at Beacon Hill Urban Wildlife Centre for an introduction into the volunteering adventures that lay ahead in the following months.

Today me myself and I, (Rachael, Dylan, Noel, Andy, Luke, Stuart and Catherine) ventured out into the wilderness besieged by enormous blood sucking ticks and agitated yellow necked mouse. Their quest was too find the elusive dormouse.

The continued adventures of Dylan Rachael and Steve!

Today we trekked down to the ravenous reptile reserve of Upton Heath. We went to seek out the 6 varieties of reptiles … one of which was poisonous.

Today, we (Dylan, Rachael and Steve) travelled up to the Purbecks, home of the farmer, breathtaking coastlines and annoying birds (according to Dylan). We went to trial and test a 5.8 mile trekking route, to later be use in a walking event in September.
